Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen was born in Freehold in a small town in New Jersey on September 23, 1949.
He is the most famous American musician and songwriter of rock music, and is known by his fans by the nickname of The Boss.

The dream of becoming The Rock'n'roll Singer came to him on a September evening in 1956, during which he attended Elvis Presley's TV performance on the Ed Sullivan Show.
It is thanks to that performance that he decides what to do when he grows up, starting an assiduous study of music, without ever changing his mind about it.
